All projects are custom designed from scratch, and built by hand to exact specifications to perfectly fit your unique situation. No 'adapted' kitchen cabinets are used, (as with large cabinet companies) and the cost of a typical installation from Heirloom Woodcraft is less than with larger shops, owing to lower overheads, without any loss of quality.
You will get EXACTLY what you want, and will deal only with Tim Pollard, an expert cabinet designer and builder, who will design and install your project.
Installation costs vary considerably according to the details of the project, but are commensurate with purchasing high quality, ready-made furniture. Only top quality materials and finishes are used. Doors are manufactured using state of the art equipment, in any style or wood type. Drawers are dovetailed solid maple, and all hardware is the best available.

WHERE TO START
If you are interested in having a project built, the first step is to contact Heirloom Woodcraft by phone or email, to arrange a friendly, NO OBLIGATION in-home meeting and estimate.
At the meeting, the ideas for the project will be discussed, and the project space measured and photographed. If you have magazine or pinterest photos or other reference material, that is always helpful in steering the design process.
Within the week, a set of '3D' renderings showing preliminary designs will be emailed to you, along with an estimate of the cost for the project as shown. The drawings show EXACTLY what the project could look like, because the entire room area is accurately modeled in 3D, so nothing is left to chance. Some examples of these drawings are on the design web page.
Up to this point there is NO OBLIGATION and NO COST to you.
After receiving the preliminary design and estimate, we will continue the design process by email and phone, making changes and trying different ideas until a design is reached that is exactly what is required. This would include finalizing material choices and color decisions, using samples, or paint numbers etc.
At this point, if you wish to proceed, an exact contract price will be calculated, and a proposal sent by email. You would then sign and return the contract by mail, along with a 50% deposit check. This now guarantees the next earliest place in line for construction and installation of the project, which can be a number of weeks, depending on the existing workload.
The installation process is rarely more than 1 to 2 days in most cases, and is quite clean. No special precautions are required, and Heirloom will provide floor protection. All projects are pre-finished in the shop.
Final payment is due upon completion, after you have inspected everything to your satisfaction.
